I started fishing in 2019 when I was 10 years old. On my second fishing trip I met a person who was on an app called Fishbrain and they suggested I create an account to post my catches. I needed to create a username, so I chose Jacobdude10. That’s how Jacobdude10 was born! After only fishing for bass for about six months I started to go saltwater fishing on weekends. Five years later I still fish for bass during the week and saltwater fish on weekends for a variety of fish. After a year of fishing, I ran into some kids my age that didn’t have any fishing gear but wanted to fish so I gave them some of my older gear. I then started going to yard sales and I would look for used fishing gear to clean up and give to kids that wanted to fish but had no gear. At the end of my 1st year, I was able to outfit 20 kids with fishing gear but I wanted to help more. I knew I needed more money to help more kids so I asked for bass pro shop gift cards for my birthday and Christmas and I would do odd jobs in my neighborhood and at the end of my 2nd year I was able to outfit 50 kids with fishing gear! After my 2nd year of helping kids’ fish, I met some businessmen on Fishbrain who gave me enough money to outfit 150 kids with new fishing gear in my 3rd year and then again in my 4th year! Unfortunately, my businessmen sold their company and are no longer able to help me but they did give me some money to start a company so I could make money to help kids fish and to one day become a Charter Captain! This is how JD10 was born! When you buy shirts or other items through JD10 you will be helping me provide fishing gear for kids who have none and you will be helping me become a Charter Captain one day.
